Where can I find cannabis and hash in Paris ?
Paris is a city of fashion, gastronomy and culture — and a frequent question from visitors is: where can I find weed, cannabis or hash here? The honest answer first: cannabis containing THC is illegal in France, whether you buy it, carry it or smoke it. There is, however, a fully legal alternative: CBD. Hemp flowers and resins with a THC content of 0.3 % or less can be sold and purchased legally, and that is exactly what you will find at Le Lab du Bonheur, in our two CBD shops in Paris and around the capital.
Is cannabis legal in Paris?
No. Recreational cannabis and hash containing THC remain prohibited in France, and buying them on the street exposes you to fines — and to products of completely unknown composition. Legal CBD is a different story: CBD flowers — often nicknamed « legal weed » — and CBD resins look and smell like traditional weed and hash, but they comply with French law (THC ≤ 0.3 %) and are sold openly in licensed shops. No prescription is needed, and you must simply be over 18.
